Farmers Market Fall Festival November 5th
Posted by: | CommentsThe Onslow County Farmers Market will host its Annual Fall Festival and the Master Gardeners 4th Annual Camellia show. 8:30 am to 1:30 pm, Saturday, November 5th, with Free hay rides, bobbin for apples, cake walk, reptile exhibit, antique tractors, farm animals on sight, not to mention fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables, baked goods, honey, fresh eggs, jams, jellies, seafood, live music 10:00 to 12:00 noon and hundreds of beautiful camellia’s for the enjoyment of young and old alike.
Hurrincane Irene Forces Farmers Market to Alter Days of Operation
Posted by: | CommentsThe Tuesday farmers market at 4024 Richlands Highway is now closed for the balance of the season.
However, the Saturday market 8:30 am to 1:30 pm will remain open through Saturday, November 5th.
Also, the Thursday’s market 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm on Western Blvd will remain open through the end of October 2011.

Contestants must arrive by 9:00am to sign in.

- 1st Place Winner $500 Cash
plus receives $300 value Digital CD photo Session by Alexander Photography
plus a Promotional CD to include 4 songs for advertising purposes By Richard Lawton’s Studio
- 2nd Place Winner receives $300 Cash
- 3rd Place Winner receives $100 Cash
All winners receive New River Cruise Valued at $300 to include One guest and a light dinner on board by Marina Cafe.
